Title: “Microwave Metrology at INMS”

Abstract:

INMS provides Radio Frequency measurements service to the community. This serves the communications industry by providing traceability to the SI.
Our capability covers the range of guided waves measurements. This includes: power, attenuation and network parameters. As an example I will describe the calibration of an RF power meter.
We also participate to some international comparisons related to the CIPM Mutual Recognition Arrangement. I will give the list of comparisons, and show some results.
Finally, I will talk about the development a quantum based power standard.
The talk should not be too technical. Everyone is welcome.
