Nelson Rowell is a Senior Research
Officer in the Institute for National Measurement Standards at the
National Research Council of Canada where he conducts research in the
infrared spectroscopy of materials. He received his PhD from the
University of Toronto in physics. He is a member of the Optical Society
of America, the Material Research Society, and the Canadian Association
of Physicists.
